Yikes!
Been a while since I’ve posted. I’m getting really bad at this blogging thing :-/ I’ll try and keep it up.
Been a while
So I realized I haven’t updated this thing in a while, since I was working on Pippin. Well, Pippin is done and it was awesome! Learning a show in 2 weeks and putting on a couple shows is pretty intense, but an awesome learning experience! I can’t wait until my next show, which may be in October :)
I will probably be updating my headshots pretty soon because of a possible hair change (!)
And in other news, I’m learning some monologues and songs and such in preparation for auditions/agent interviews in the near future :)

Pippin rehearsals
Well, Pippin rehearsals are well underway, and it’s ping really well! We’re learning number after number and blazing through it. I’m playing Pippin if you haven’t heard at all :)
If anyone’s able to come out and see, please do! The performances are only on July 16th (Saturday) at 3:00 and 7:00. It’s a production with high school and college aged kids, so it’ll be fun!
Wrapped up!
So the other night, we shot the short film I was talking about. I had an awesome experience and worked with some great dudes. I’m pumped that Bucky (the director) reached out to me to audition and that he cast me. We shot from about 10 pm until 5:30 in the morning. Nuts! Then I went straight to work for 9 hours. Bummmmmed! But it was an awesome experience. I can’t wait to share it with peeps. It’s a neat little short with some funny/messed up situations.
Pretty soon here, I’m gonna be recording a new album! My good buddy/co-worker Timi will be producing and recording it and as soon as I give him some demos, we can get started :)
Oh, and I may be playing another wedding this fall. More on that later.

Short film and musical update :)
Well, it’s official! I am shooting my short film Monday night. Pretty exciting stuff. I can’t to see how it all turns out and I’ll for sure post it up here when it’s all done :)
Also, I’m going to be in the musical Pippin this July! It’s sort of a 2 week intensive type thing, with 2 weeks of rehearsal and to get everything together, and one day of performances. I’m not sure what part I am quite yet, and I don’t have the details on the performance(s) yet, but I will for sure post that info as soon as I get it. Wooooo!

Update
Well, I just noticed I haven’t updated in about 2 months. That would lead someone to believe that nothing’s going on, right? Well, I actually do have a few things going on!
Right now, I’m waiting for a location to be secured for an untitled short film I got cast for, directed by Bucky Fukumoto (music video/commercial director). I was super stoked to be cast and can’t wait to film it! It’s got a cool, simple story with a great twist at the end.
Fine Merchants (a production company I started with some friends from work) has been on a two week break, but we will be back with our meeting this next coming week, cooking up some more ideas. We’ve actually got a couple fresh, awesome ideas for new projects that I can’t wait to share.
Last thing: it’s looking like in July, I will be in a musical production that has 2 weeks of rehearsal and 1 performance. Think of it as an intensive :)
So, a lot of cool stuff on the horizon. And that’s all after I play my friend’s wedding tomorrow. I’ll let everyone know how that goes :)

Here’s a shot of us on Aardvark episode 9 rehearsing some vocals :)
Well, it’s been a while, but I’ve had a bit happen since my last post. Last weekend, I was LA shooting a couple episodes of a web series. It’s called Aardvark (www.aardvarkwebseries.com) and it’s an awesome, funny show! Those episodes should be up this and next Sunday.
Also, I’ve been developing and writing my own web series, so that should be pretty awesome. I’ll be meeting with my dudes in Fine Merchants next week.
I guess I never talked about that either. Haha whoops. Some friends from work and I started a little production company called Fine Merchants. We plan on developing and creating web shows, short films, radio plays, and more. I’ve missed the first couple meetings, but next week I will meet with them, and we’ll go over all our ideas.
Other than that, I will be getting headshots in the next couple weeks and will be signing up for Central Casting to do some extra work and get an introduction into what the industry is like and how the whole thing works.
